That calculator tells me 67, however, that is based on having always worked and contributed in the UK. I haven't so I need to work 5 years longer to get to the qualifying years... I am however hoping to retire earlier and just live off less, until I get my state pension aged 72. Lets just hope my current efforts in expanding my arts for dementia project gets the money... which would mean I will earn a little more than I do now from September 2015 - July 2017. We will see after that what I can do... Building the free lance income gradually, hoping to have my herb business off the ground come 2018...

I have been living so frugally this year, it is unreal. I have impressed even myself, didn't know I could live on so little! Mind, I have also earned a little more than I was expecting, gaining an extra yoga class an a few snall scale free lance projects. It will be interesting to see once I do the accounts. Yes, I know, I actually haven't done the accounts since April
