That sounds like the best possible incentive to either slow down or accelerate rapidly...

As I like the female MTBers with their jersey zips undone for ventilation :-)

I was fascinated by the fact that his crack was hairy but none of the surrounding exposed lower back was.

But then I thought ... men are more hairy than women and it's probably quite common among hairy men. I've only ever been out with one hairy bloke and he was v slim so would have been unlikely to have an exposed arse crack while on a bike.

Rode my bike tonight, less awesomely than I had imagined I might do, but good enough to get more points in our league, which might win me a plastic trophy, which my wife will hate.
Funny what things motivate people :-)

Plastic trophies is where it is at Dr B :) mind, I prefer my glass ones...

Action Man has just the right level of hairyness :) I once dated a very hairy man though but as he was a cyclist, he shaved his legs and as he was balding, he shaved his head, so only his torso and arms were hairy... Bit weird!

I like walking up to get the gold-coloured plastic trophy at the awards dinner :-)

A friend told me he was going to win it this year, and beat me, which was the motivation I needed.

It's been rather diminished by the fact that the talented riders have been snapped up by more professional racing teams, leaving a competition between the old and obstinate (me) and the ambitious, improving, but less athletically gifted riders.
