Are any of you vivosmart owners? I'm in the market for a new activity tracker/watch/GPS and the vivosmart HR+ plus seems to tick all the boxes I'm interested in. There are a couple of things I can't seem to find answers for via google and I was hoping you Fetchies would be able to help.

In my job, it's vital that I'm not distracted by buzzing/flashing but I still need to see the time when I glance at my wrist. If I put it into Do Not Disturb mode, does this stop the clock showing too?

I see it serves as a wake up alarm and I wondered if I could set it for different times on different days (without having to faff on setting it each night before bed...)

TIA!

Hi - my wife got a VSHR+ for Christmas and really likes it.

In terms of the buzzing etc, i'm fairly certain that the watch display is active even if it doesn't buzz. Things like the "Move" alert or notificationns about emails etc can be switched off easily in the Garmin Connect app which would just turn them off without doing anything else to the watch.

As far as alarms go, you set them via the Garmin Connect app but I think you can only set one time (you can choose which days it is active for though).

As far as a running watch goes, it works well - accurate tracking, easy to use and uploads via bluetooth (she uses an Android phone) quickly and painlessly. I'd recommend it.

Good question! I've never really used it for running so I'm not sure. I'll check and let you know 👍🏻

There's an option in the garmin connect app on my phone to switch auto lap on and off however when I've looked at my training log there is a run entry from when I first bought it (must have been experimenting) but it doesn't show lap splits. What I can't be sure of is whether I had autolap switched on or off at the time. I realise this doesn't help much...

Let's see if I can revive this thread...
Can anyone explain the following run for me?: fetcheveryone.com/t-17448514

The route is only plotted up to a point (~5.5km) but the distance/pace/elevation are recorded up to the full distance (~9km). There was no notification that GPS signal had been lost. Any idea what might have gone wrong?

Got something to say?
