Have we always had Taboola links at the bottom of every forum page?

Nope. I assume it's part of the advertising revenue stream. But it's a type that really annoys me...! |

I agree - I don't mind ads but really hate click bait. On the plus side, it reminded me that I needed to get round to subscribing and now it's gone

No they're new. I dislike them a lot and find it annoying as on the phone I used to scroll down to get the thread links, now it's too far, and the thread header is way down too. I've actually sent feedback as I think it really cheapens the site. I'll be subscribing when Fetch sends bank details (or have I missed that?) |

I could give you some feedback to give to Taboola but I'm afraid it wouldn't be very constructive, or nice. Don't mind regular ads at all, I have disabled ad-blocking on FE. But I hate Taboola/Outbrain clickbait. Plus, I am having the same issue as Meglet when using my phone. Are you still going to be providing details for standing orders? Or should we use the subscribe option? |

I'm disliking it for the reasons Meglet says. I know we need to be financially self sufficient but (could possibly just tolerate them if they didn't interfere with navigating the site) |

Agreed, if they were below the thread header and links...

They've gone! Thank you Fetch, it's a much nicer place without them. Now, if you can send your bank details I can properly get rid of the rest of the ads... |
