The tenor even did a reprise of Una Furtiva Lagrima (I have never seen that happen in an opera before). It was a little too traditional in that they had the jester in blackface! It was completely unnecessary and added nothing to the story. I never peed in the sink at home (my parents were heavy sleepers) but age 16 on our university trip, I got rat-arsed and, being 16, was not exactly experienced at managing these things. Our teacher was patrolling the corridor, knowing fine well what state we were all in and I, having already been out 3 times to the loo, couldn't face her again and may have used the sink. I've absolutely no idea how the geometry of all that worked. My coat, thrown haphazardly underneath the sink may also have concealed a boy from Islay when she came in to ask me to whom I was talking. (I can't even remember his name, poor lad.)

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
