You've gone it before PP, so you know you can, in fact you've done twice that far! It's like doing a half! :-) :-)

I'm back, we chose to do the shorter course - 18.8 miles and it was such a good decision as I was knackered the last three miles! Amazing event, thoroughly enjoyed it! Lovely route, well written directions to follow and the food at the checkpoints and then at the end (soup followed by fruit crumble and custard) was brilliant. Great day out! I hope everyone else is having a lovely day. :-)

Well done Lemon10 and everyone who has run today.

Trust in your training PP

Just spent the last 1.5 hours starting to organise volunteers for the club's half marathon. Yawn. If anyone faces a spot of marshalling around Richmond/Kingston area on 30th April, do let me know :-)

One more proper long run next weekend (20) to do then taper starts, though under the P&D plan the shorter`long run the following Sunday is still 16 !

You`ll be great PP. You`ve done huge mileage. Should be easy ;-) (and you`re `ard anyway)

Well done Lemon. Just a fab day for running, cycling, gardening :-)

Well done today folks. Glad you enjoyed Run Lemon.

Been out for Mother's Day lunch and a bit of shopping. Left calf a bit sore. Felt ok after yesterday's run. Will see how it feels tomorrow as due to do 5 miles. Have rolled it. Was a bit ouchy. Have sports massage on Tuesday so hopefully that'll help.

Well done LG & Lem, no problem in not PBing or doing a shorter route. :)

Sorry abou the ankle CStar, hope it's ok - I seem to be rather prone to going over on my ankle too.
PP, you'll be just fine, after all, you've done it before.

Great running from everyone else too. :)

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
