Been swimming. Didn't so much blow away the cobwebs as wash them away.

I'm planning to get back in the pool tomorrow Columba, haven't been for far too long. Functional Movement was brill this morning, I shall have DOMS all over the place tomorrow I expect :-)

Called to a meeting about my mum. She is being her cantankerous usual self, having been too poorly to be objectionable until now. Thing is, they think it's dementia; I know, it's her default personality :-(. Anyway, told her off. Not that it'll do any good.

Hugs, Daisy, tough times.
I escaped vomiting tribaby for some hill work. Not sure what was worse

I think "default personality" may be what people fall back on towards the end of their lives, Daisy. My Mum, without being cantankerous, had been in a settled negative/depressed state for a long time and just sank further into it.

Poor tribaby indeed. Are things improving?

Oh, I do hope Tribaby feels better soon (for both of you!)

I'm sorry, LD. It's tough for you at the moment, isn't it :-(

Some running has occurred today (and some yesterday, too, albeit not as much as I wanted). It has mostly involved run/walking the dog, running to collect cars from outside pubs/stations, and a partial run home from work.

Every little helps, as they say.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
