I'm tempted to enter this one. It is definitely different from the old Gloucester Marathon which was run on a rural route and was organised by Norman and Anne Wilson.

Not sure who is organising this one, but at £48 for entry, I'm assuming they have some sort of pedigree. Anyone know anything about them?

It's organised by TriMax Events, Synge, the people who do the Seven Sins. Some clubmates did that one last December and seemed to have a good time, but I know nothing more about them, sorry.

I did the 2016 event and all went smoothly. Well organised, bit of a hill around 18 miles, some city centre running but mainly rural. 2017, I assume, was similar.

Event was cancelled in 2018 reportedly through a bit of a lack of communication with City Council and Police over proposed route changes. It's back in the listings for 2019.
