When they are all varying degrees of bad, vote tactically to make sure your least favourite doesn't get in.

If you can't bring yourself to vote for any of them, spoil your ballot paper and maybe consider running yourself next time around or getting someone else to step up.

First past the post is a bit crap, I'm sure lots of people will simply not bother.

Corbyn won't be able to stay on, because the Labour grandees won't let him, they will throw their weight behind one candidate, and the loss of the election and 100 odd seats means his followers will not have the heart for a battle (they might think they do but like football teams, there are always more followers when you're winning). He might have to be removed but he will not win a leadership contest post GE of that I'm sure.

The New Statesman posits he could be removed now, because he doesn't have the numbers as it stands (given people who said they'd support him but didn't think he'd get to the next general election) - but it would have to be the right candidate.

as the Wire put it "come at the king, you best not miss".

He will be taken down, when it's certain he will lose.

Isn't he certain to lose now? What are they waiting for if not, the exit poll?

If Cooper was in place with 4 weeks campaigning to go the Tories would shit themselves.

Cruella wants Britain 'to lead the world in preventing tourism' :)

Isn't that taking hatred of Johnny Foreigner a tad too far?

TRO - not certain now - the polls imply that but not by much. If he won again would make it worse, hence I think they'll wait, and then lock the hard left out permanently.

Agree TRO. Cooper would be a spanner in the works but I fear it's too late in the day. Still, when faced with almost certain defeat it might be better than laying down and thrashing about.

There's no way Corbyn will go before the election. There would be uproar in the membership and no potential successor will want it as they will want to let Corbyn fail.

After the Scottish referendum, a lot of the "traditional" tribes vanished: people who had "always" voted for one party didn't, they found they couldn't forgive that party for campaigning against the Yes cause, and embraced the SNP in droves.

While I'm not convinced that the equivalent sentiment will result in votes for UKIP (if you're Brexit, they've kind of served their purpose?), I do wonder if the same disruptor effect will prevail in the GE.

Name-calling will be called out, and Ad hominem will be frowned upon. :-) And whatabout-ery sits somewhere above responding to tone and below contradiction.
