Can be a bit of a pain. I've had it forever and just had to learn the inhaler routine and watch out for tree pollen or cold mornings

I was 'just' asthmatic for years then diagnosed with EIA in 2012, needed to see a consultant in the end to get the meds right and settle it so that I could race without an attack but am generally ok now apart from the odd iv steroids incident post-race. Best advice the consultant gave me was to warm up and induce the inflammatory response then take my Ventolin before racing. Biggest pain is needing to carry my inhaler when racing - I don't need it when training unless my peak flow is already low for some reason.

Got something to say?
