Turkey legs
Hi all,

I've just procured a new camelbak for long summer training runs. Used it today, loved it. I've rinsed the bag & left it filled with a Milton sterilising solution over night.

After my last one went mouldy after the first few uses, will this be enough to prevent a repeat?

Cheers

Hang it upside down to get thoroughly air dry. Use something to hold the bag open at the fliing hole end. Also take care to clean and dry the bite valve and hose.

What DeeGee says :-)
Also make sure you blow all of the water or of the pipe. Water only also helps, gives the bugs less to feed on :-)

You can buy kits from Camelbak to help with cleaning and drying. Not cheap, but neither is a Camelbak.
Your bladder may have fold out props, to help open it more for drying.
