Never realised you were on here too!

The shared confusion over the wooden bridge got me to go back and check the roadbook...

"At far side of park, cross river over arched stone bridge and turn R on tarmac road
(CARE). Over cattle grid and, after 50m, turn L (WSW) over cattle grid and up track (bridleway)."

No mention of a wooden bridge. Its never been an issue on any recces but I'd not been awake for 40+ hours then :)

After a very frustrating 36 hours having missed the entry and ending up on the waiting list, I'm delighted to say that I'm now in for the L50 next summer.

That won't help those who missed out on Monday morning, but is good news if you are on the waiting list - there is hope. But keep checking your emails since the offer expires at midnight the next day.

In an unusual approach, having done the L100 this year, I'm just doing the fun-run instead next year, and really looking forward to it. It'll be good to see the Langdales in the daylight.
