I lost 1.5lbs this week too. Boozy weekend though, so just trying to decide if I want to fast today or not! Think I might just do Tuesday and Thursday this week :)

I'm also doing Tues and Thursday this week. I'm on holiday from work this week. I'm going to my free taster session of Ozonefit at Astley park tonight to try and put some exercise mojo back into my life. I've not done anything for nearly 2 weeks and have only run a measly 11 miles this month.

Tuesday & Thursday for me too ... but I can't help but think that MK Tim's advice about not sticking rigidly to the calorie count may break my resolve at some point :-)

Tues & Thurs here too. Fast day yesterday - was almost a cereal bar for tea due to work, but got some steamed cauliflower and tuna at about 10pm last night!

Today and Wednesday for me this week. Just wish they wouldn't put the Bake Off on on a Wednesday - not fair :-)

Tim of MK
I did stick rigidly to a calorie count on fast days. Just aroun 1200, rather than 600 a day. Doubtless, it took a bit longer to lose my 22kgs, but importantly I was better able to stay in the programme

1200 calories isn't really a fast. Have you watched the Michael Mosley documentary? Weight loss is one of many benefits of fasting. I'm not really doing it to lose weight anymore, just because it's healthy, but you need to fast to get these benefits.

Weight loss is the almost 'short-term' goal, long term is to maintain any weight loss, and keep going to get the health benefits - given my mum was overweight, had type 2 diabetes, and died from a heart attack and blockage, I'd rather try fasting on 500 calories for two days a week, eat healthily and exercise the rest of the time.

So glad I changed my usual fast day (Mon) until tomorrow as I really needed the calories for the ozonefit bootcamp tonight. My arms are that tired I'm finding it difficult to type. Really enjoyed it even though I have no upper body/core strength lol. Might even go for a little run tomorrow.

Good for you, Tim! That's an impressive loss.

Sounds like you invented a new weight-loss regime ... the '5 & 2-ish' :-)

Anyone want to try it with me?

Info - m.bbc.co.uk

5 days of 'normal' eating and 2 days eating 600 calories (men), 500 calories (women).

Fast days are best not done on consecutive days, unless you have amazing willpower.
