I usually go for 600 cals as i find 500 too few. I start with a skinny latte (80) then a couple of bits of fruit in the day (150) and then maybe a two egg mushroom omelette with salad or fish and veg. the others are more harcore than me and often don't eat anything in the day or just have a miso soup. Actually soup is a good option, it can be really filling for not many cals.

I don't eat breakfast or lunch and have my 500 cal meal around 5pm. Normally a giant bowl of salad with spinach, tomatoes, peppers, carrot and a boiled egg then blueberries, a few almonds and a square of dark chocolate for dessert. Agree with B. about the soup, make it yourself and you can get lots of good stuff in there.

I have a mug of miso at lunchtime for 18 calories and have some chicken or fish and salad for dinner. It's not as difficult as you think.

I got my miso in the world food section of Asda, it's just soy bean paste, and yes it's worked for me :)

Hi all. Well done Oyterboy, bigleggy and all those who have lost weight these past few weeks.

I'm incorporating fasting and LCHF and have lost 101bs so far. I'm doing the 16/8 fast. Eat normally withn an eight hour window, then fast for the remaining 16 hours. I have chosed to eat between the hours of 12pm - 8pm and this works fantastically well for me. On running days I go out in the morning in a fasted state (supposed to enhance fat burning so I hear) and time it so I get back around 12pm then eat an omlette or egg, bacon and sausage or something like that. Tea is lots of salad or veg with fish or meat, followed by a cup of coffee with fresh cream. Lots of water and green tea during the day. Although not overweight and I do have a healthy BMI, I still have another 10lb to go before I'm back to my original weight, a weight which I feel comfortable with.

Keep up the great work Guys :-)

Had 2 weeks off - Back on it again. First '2' day of the week.

Banana for lunch, soup for tea. Leaves me with enough calories for a couple of cuppas with milk.

A 2 day for me as well. I only did 1.5 2 days last week and I spent the weekend drinking wine.

Feels like hard work as half asleep and would like something big and stodgy. Miso soup will have to do!

Second 2 day of the week for me.

Even though it's full of crap and not healthy, I've found that diet irn bru makes me hyper on fast days. I have literally no clue what the scales will show for weigh in tomorrow as it's all been a bit up and down.

Second 2 day of the week for me too - So far I've had a banana and 1 cup of tea with milk in it.

Scales tomorrow - I have no idea what they'll say after 2 weeks off :-/
