Lol at the peas :-)
I'm glad nobody was scoring us at agility today...our weaves were slightly improved but concentration was lacking in everything else

I bet you and Wanda are better than us. Raffo has bought a weave set for Jess off Ebay.

We are completely rubbish at it. :-)

My friend who has the two BCs has had to stop taking the 18 month old to agility because although he is brilliant it was making him too 'over excited' ! Obsessive traits can be a problem, the part of my little dog that is probably BC has been obsessed with what is under the shed all week and now wont even come for a walk.......

I spent a couple of weeks in Fiji once and used to swim/walk out to a rock on a very shallow beach. There was always a golden lab at the rock swimming/running around, obsessing about the little fish that lived under it. He was there every day rushing through the water and snapping away. I couldn't dissuade him and get him to do something else.

My main problem with the weaves is that although I do *know* that the dog's left shoulder goes in first I am incapable of understanding this, so invariably I send her in the wrong way. If I could get it right I think Wanda would grasp it much quicker than she has done.

Raffo has decided 'weave' sounds too like 'leave' and insists we now use 'zigzag'. He sort of has a point.

Most of you lot read my blog anyway (hurrah!) but there's a double dose of Jess- and co - today.

She done me proud!

Morning all
I'm after some advice from the good dog owners of the this thread. I currently have an 8 yr old collie/gsd x (all collie traits), we are looking at getting a sprocker puppy (male). Anyone experienced any issues introducing another dog into the mix and how did you overcome them.

Any experiences of sprockers welcome. I've done a fair amount of internet research but given how big a decision it is any advice welcome.
