Poor Kizzy - why would someone do that to a dog that will be of no value to them. I hope she is found soon. Naughty Jet......:-o |

Oh dear both on the stolen dog and the destruction wrought by Jet, Helegant. Working spaniels seem to be preferred targets for thieves round here. Must be so distressing for both dog and owner.

I think Mr has recovered his sense of humour, and he and Jet are most definitely friends again (I have to admit that I laughed when I saw multi-coloured feathers all over the hall floor, which probably didn't help Mr's mood ) |

Got loads of dog stuff to report but no time. This morning at agility (which was a mixture of very wet and delightfully sunny) - we scored a fellow member of the Super Crowd Strictly style, to her amused surprise. Raffo found some jumps numbers which we held up and announced once she'd finished. He was Craig and only gave her 3. Talli got the chance to call 'Seven!' Excellent fun. |

Want to know the latest Flossie theft report? I had an enforced freezer-defrost this week and one of the casualties was an unopened bag of once-frozen peas. I left them on the worktop next to the food caddy ready to put out for the waste collection (the caddy was too full to have 1.5kg of peas added). You know what happened next. FGS, that was an unopened bag of peas! How did she know it was food? Every last pea consumed. Lots of pea-poo |

The whippet who's staying with me has gone from not being v food-orientated to being quite obsessed about it and seeming unsatisfied when she's had her tea. I'm wondering if it's all the treats that get handed out in the local park. She has also started to get over-excited and a bit barky and nippy when out in the park and all the dogs are rolling around together. I've had to instill some calmness. There have been many comic moments with labradors in the park. Someone on this thread commented that they're the comedians of the dog world; I tend to agree. |
