That's a shame about your website but I imagine the direct, old style stuff will work best for you at first.

Jess was completely off her food yesterday, all day. She seemed ok otherwise, if vaguely (and only vaguely) subdued. She wouldn't eat anything even her favourite crunchy fish skin cubes. Just about swallowed two Vermex (minute anti worm biscuits) and two mini dice sized bits of liver cake.

Back to normal today, hurrah! Silver class tonight - I was worried that we'd have to miss it.

I'm glad she is feeling better, worrying but I suppose we can all have off days.

She was very canny in the morning. She'd turned her long nose up at the fish cubes but I hadn't really twigged she was off colour. I gave her a moo tube (cow trachea, fact fans) nice and bloody and presumably smelly and she marched off into the garden with it.

And promptly buried it.

I assume she knew she didn't want to eat it at that moment but it was too precious and good just to leave lying around.

Mmmm buried moo tube - such treasure! :-) Glad Jess is feeling better today.

We have Bella here for a week. I think it's fair to say she looked very disgruntled at being left when my brother-in-law left her on Wednesday afternoon. Flossie is delighted, but Bella is a very un-playful playmate for much of the time these days :-( She's only 7, but she seems like a really old dog compared to our bouncy Floss.

To add insult to injury, Bella had her annual jabs at the vet this week and my sister got the 'fat Lab' lecture. We've said for some time that she was overweight. So she's on reduced rations :-(

We will have her for nearly six weeks from the end of October so I'm going to suggest that we feed her the same James Wellbeloved Light food we give Floss. She likes it, it feels to her that she's getting a decent bowlful of food and it got the weight off her slowly but steadily. It would also be more convenient to just have one giant bag of food in the back lobby instead of two!

Jess was letting her tummy settle. Sensible dog.

Yes D2 - I've just done the Facebook page and I think it has a lot of potential. Just need to get a copy of my logo from my designer. Lots of stuff is resting on them getting back to me when they're back from hols. Probably the last thing they want to think about! I can't put it out there properly until the logo's on it. Going on Gum Tree next.

LD - Hopefully you can inject some joy back into Bella's life, especially as she'll start to feel lighter and potentially more bouncy.

I had a 'go' with a trained, high energy Border Collie at Agility today. Nat thought it would do me good and show me a few things...

I think I will write a mini blog about it - very interesting.

I'm looking forward to that mni blog about it... we had to miss agility today due to having to attend a 'baby naming ceremony' (for Archers fans - yes it was just like Mungos). But we are practicing our weaves at home and I think we're getting there.... :-)
