I didn't feed anything to this lab either but I think she may be a more determined sort than Flossie by the sound of it. She was lovely though. So was the greyhound...and all good positive experiences with other dogs for Wanda too.

It bears repeating that Wanda does you credit these days. I know we all still have our 'moments' but the thread puppies - even the more ahem 'challenging' ones have come a long way. dog blackheart dog

Hello threadsters. I spoke to someone who runs a dog-walking business about infectious diseases, as some of you raised on here the potential issue. He gave me an answer straight away and I'm going to run it by my vet friend who I'm meeting on Friday.

:-( No gold for Flossie today at Lower Slaughter. I'll blog tomorrow but basically it was the "send to bed " that sank us. Never mind, re-assessment is on 19 September.

Aw clever and prettily mannered small dog!

As for Flossie - she is still the obedience star of the thread. Sounds like only one little thing sunk her. She - and you LD - have done fantastically well even to be taking the gold test so soon. You have flown through the levels.

Sorry about your gold test today :-(, but not long to wait until the next assessment and I still expect Flossie to be the first to pass the gold test.
D2, it is heart-warming, and you must be proud of Small.

Just seen your blog LD...sorry about the send to bed exercise this time but as Sharkie says you've sailed through all the tests....and I do envy you getting the chance to take them fairly quickly. Goodness knows when our opportunity to take Silver never mind Gold will be. I know that gives me more chance to practice but I'd like Wanda to take Silver before the weather gets too bad!

I just wrote a post and it must've timed out. :)

I popped in to say thanks very much to my focus group. I chose the first alliterative name, but take on board comments about the personal touch and will be including my name in literature, web site and polo shirt/t-shirt.

EG (on clothing):
Name of organisation
What I do
Contact Chrissie on:
tel no.

I've asked friends whose dogs have stayed with me if they can write testimonials for my site.

Early tomorow morning I'm gently acosting people in the woods in the name of market research.

Exciting!
