Odd time of the month for me in regard to fetchpoint. Today is October 25th so my rolling score is September 25th to October 25th. Sep 25th was a Sunday and I did 10 miles in the middle of nowhere so planted 20 flowers, picked one and got -4 points for not getting my bug so net 17 points. Tomorrow the window moves forward and those 17 points fall off the end of the belt and those I pick up tomorrow (including the 200 points I go for clearing today's bug) get added.

ooh, I've snuck back into the top 100! Won't last though, some of my previously quiet neighbours are upping their activity and snapping up traffic lights on some of my regular routes.

Never come across traffic light. Going to Edinburgh next month, might find some there, will look later If a flower says 20, did it give you 20, then die or die having given 17? |

Ferret if it states 20 then you've gained 20 points. You'll get no further points even if you pass over it again from the flower until it gets harvested after 42 days. However if the value of a flower reaches 20 points within its first 14 days it can no longer be watered so will die (no additional points) before it can be harvested due to the 28 day watering rule. If the 'watering' is done correctly, basically watered at least once during day 15 and day 28 you can harvest flowers with 9, 17 or 20 points value.

Hi Mick, are you sure about the over watering thing? I run loops around a compound for 95% of my runs so the flowers all got watered to max within a short time frame and were all harvested as one would expect at the end of the 42 day period. At least that is what I think happened.

I'm monitoring a flower that was planted on 5th October and 'last watered' on 7th October when it reached its maximum value. It has been visited regularly since, so will be interesting to see if it dies next Friday, or whether it carries on to be harvested on 16th November

Andy yes unless something has changed fairly recently. I did the same as R4R and monitored a number of flowers that reached 20 points within 14 days. Although I did cross over them within the next 28 days they were never 'watered' and the last watering date remained the date the flower reached 20 points, and they died before being harvested.

Mick173 thank you very much, that seems comprehensible to me. Finally. So, If I have it right, R4R your flower will, like mine die from overwatering so we won't benefit during harvest. But having it at all was better than not. Only one way out from here....it's a steep hill too 😂 I saw photo of stacked flowers in compound Andy, but may have been just before everything changed. Where did you put as 'home'? Mine is arranged so as to avoid evil traffic when squishing bugs on foot

Been on holiday for 12 nights and returned to a bug infestation. I bit the bullet today and worked out a route that killed all twelve of them. I ended up having to manually input the route - which was a challenge in itself - as my Garmin is having post-holiday blues. |
