One thing that I realise with time is that fetchpoint can be played very differently by different people. One big factor is the number of people close to you. My fetchpoint home is work which is in a densely populated area (West London) and it is pretty much a case of a little bug management but mainly running through the parks and picking flowers. At my real home there are far fewer players so flower management is the issue, so plant and water flowers and they get harvested 6 weeks later.

I really don't get this. I ran 10K this morning, netting me 15895 points. I just looked in the July leader board and I'm in 127th with No.1 having 681737 credits, how is that even possible??

its the bikers CW , at the stroke of midnight those that go out cycling long routes day after day or at least water flowers 4 or so times over a 6 week period , when the clock strikes midnight their flowers get picked from exactly 6 weeks ago ........... unless your a keen cyclist don't beat yourself up trying be on the leader board cos it aint gonna happen :-(

Can that really be true? If I read the rules then a flower gets you 1000 points, but if you water it it could get you 2000, so even if you water it 6 times then it's only going to be 6000 points. So could you really pick up 100 full value flowers on a ride? Or am I missing something?

as far as I am aware flowers get planted every half mile so to get 100 flowers you would "only" need to do a 50 mile bike ride which for some is a gentle evening ride , make sure you repeat that ride every week and you have the highest score on the leader board ........

if you have some harvested overnight from 6 weeks ago plus you pick a shed load of someone elses and then on top of all that plant and water some flowers as well as grab the coins in your own area. I know as a runner I have gone through a cyclists commuter route for about a mile and netted my self 100K of points (only managed that once and the cyclist concerned now varies his route)

===========
1) The scoreboard and markers don't 'reset' on the first of the month any more. They work on a rolling 30 day system.
2) You only need to worry about red bugs.
