Nothing happens at a postbox, it just makes the map look pretty :-) And no idea about those efficient route thingies, I can't work them out either!

Checkpoint
Run from one to another along the shortest possible route for maximum points. Checkpoints are sprinkled randomly across your playing circles. Run from one to the next at your own pace, but choose the shortest route to maximise your score. Credits are awarded based on the ratio between the direct distance and your actual route. For example, if two markers are 5 miles apart as the crow flies, and your route means you run 7 miles, you'd score 5/7 x 5(miles) x 250(credits per mile) = 893 credits. Checkpoints move every day, and reported ones will respawn.

JD - If checkpoints are very close together you can get above 100% efficient routes - especially if their 'circles' overlap.

In theory, if you run through the point where the circles intersect, you should get 'infinity' % but in practice you don't - you are given 0%. I know - I've tried it

ah that explains it - overlapping circles over the lake in front of the office that I cycled though! (the overlapping circles, not the lake ;) )

I got two Goreillas in one day! :-) And one of them was in a lake... got it by walking the edge of the lake.

1) The scoreboard and markers don't 'reset' on the first of the month any more. They work on a rolling 30 day system.
2) You only need to worry about red bugs.
