I'm on holiday, and don't have the facilities to upload runs, so I'm just leaving it. A shame, cos I scored really well in the first couple of weeks of July.

Just got my 5th goreilla. He was lurking in the shops so I thought I'd better stroll over there.

All my outings are loaded manually, but yesterday I found out how to fix the problem that has had me squinting at a Garmin screen and copy-typing. Might save me quite a lot of time :-)

Indeed there is, Mick.... and I crumbled this afternoon and did it, because I've scoffs the circular route I did this morning is nice enough to repeat daily. So I've planted six flowers. Shame they won't harvest, of course - unless some Fetchpoint player fancies a holiday on Gozo in a couple or three weeks time? If my maths is right, there could be 78 flowers on offer, and all but 6 of them will have been watered. Easily a quarter of a million points... What do you say?

If I save walks/runs to Runkeeper (which can export to GPX) whilst away, and upload them a few days later, will they have any effect on points? I'm confused. Wish there was way to auto-upload stuff. I record on Runkeeper on phone, save to GPX on computer, then import to Fetch. That's fine when I have a computer, but on a weekend away... #sob

Hi Quimby Normally you would get most of the points uploading a number of runs a few days later however points to remember are;

If uploaded in a new month ie runs made 30th/31st uploaded on 1st, do not score points.

You cannot plant and water on the same day therefore if multi runs over the same route are uploaded on the same day you only get planting points, it is the upload date not the actual run date the system records.

The map changes everyday and it is the map on the day you upload that is used, so whilst you may think you have collected something it may have moved by the time you get round to uploading your runs.

Hope that helps

Thanks for the explanation mick, I won't go all out for Goreillas whilst I'm away then, I'd be chasing ghosts!

Attempts to get Garmin sofwatre to work have all failed. As has the communicator plug in. Yesterday involved a lot of clicks.

Helegant - can you not hit the Garmin Fit button on the Fetch add trining page and uploaddiretly from your watch ?
Having a 110 and running Ubuntu on the laptop - that is the only way that works for me

===========
1) The scoreboard and markers don't 'reset' on the first of the month any more. They work on a rolling 30 day system.
2) You only need to worry about red bugs.
