DoricQuine Jul 2014 2:50pm, 10 Jul 2014 955 posts	0 DoricQuine ABERDEEN PARKRUN IS CANCELLED ON SATURDAY 12th JULY. Thanks to those that posted online about the parking. The parking restrictions and number of people attending the golf on Saturday mean I am cancelling Saturdays parkrun. I have visited the area at lunchtime and while it is not busy at the moment I anticipate on Saturday the area will be very busy. It is simply not worth the grief for a weekly run event to try and go ahead when we may create issue for ourselves that we do not need. Maybe we could do a Dundee (80 minutes away), Perth (100 minutes) or St. Andrews (110 minutes) road trip? Last August about 25 of us descended on Dundee parkrun. Post here if interested in the road trip and we will try and sort something out. Please share this message so the runners know to not turn up. I will cancel the parkrun online, update the news page and also advise the parkrun office. Martin F. Run Director
