Urgh. Hated it. My problems started at mile 3 or 4 I think and I never did get over them. Thirsty and hot the whole way round and felt sick/dizzy in the last couple of miles. SB, but I'm not celebrating it.

Sounds like I dodged a bullet by remaining on injury bench and having to miss Peterhead Half. Seems everyone struggled and didn't seem to enjoy it. But well done to all for persevering and getting it done. Medals well earned!

Yes, I concur, peterheed was tough. Not as hilly as I couldn't cope, it was the unexpected heat that zapped me......

Done n dusted tho, and an improvement on Garioch half.

So is everyone looking forward to Stoney half on Sunday? :-) shanksi is at the last committee meeting tonight, we'll be packing the goodie bags tomorrow and I predict a cooling breeze for the race with the sun coming out for the swim in the outdoor pool. And Wimbledon have even changed their schedule so the men's final doesn't clash anymore!

Going to be a DNS - this was to have been my target race after my DNF there last year and really gutted to miss out on the tee shirt as well :(
