I personally wouldn't want to chance racing a sub 4 mara on road less than a month before my first whw. I'm sure if you googled you could find a mara somewhere earlier in the year? Running fast on road for a longer distance is what brings on my itb pain so I don't think I'll be attempting gfa but I admire you for going for it.

I would definitely be up for buddying up as training partners to try and crack GFA together - i think it would really help to have someone else chipping away at the training...especially aas I don't really like running fast.

Wkp & RWR does that mean you are going to do different long slow runs from the rest of us? That would be a shame, I'd miss you both, especially now I'm working fill time, running is much more of the social thing for me when I catch up with folk.
