Have one of the dates for D33 or Garioch changed from their websites...I'm confused? According to the web D33 is 14th March and Garioch is 22nd March?

Hmm, oops. I wonder why i thought they were on the same weekend? Derp.
The 22nd is our wedding anniversary, so doing a half up in Garioch may not be high on priorities...I had already been trying to persuade mr_kynon to do the Loch Katrine marathon on that weekend which was met with a bit of side-eye. Seems like perfect fun to me!

Himself and myself are entered for the Fling. I'm not sure how much I like the hysteria which is surrounding entry for this race now. It feels like the London Marathon of ultras...it will probably be a ballot entry from next year.

Lol glad I don't have to get up early and run in Inverurie then ;-)

RWR has Kynon deferred his vlm place then? the fling has turned in to a bit of a circus hasn't it? All the fb group chat probably adds to it. My phone was buzzing last night with texts and fb messages off club folk asking me stuff, telling me they'd signed up including Scott, Phil, and new guy from my work Chris.

Yes, he's deferring. He's just assumed he wouldn't get into London and had decided to do the Fling before he got his London place. After WHW race next year, my task will be to get my GFA so I can join him in the 2016 race! Of course that means I will finally get a place in the ballot, because Sod's law is a sod...

I entered the Fling, which means I still have a teensy bit of hope that I'll be back to running by December.
If nothing else, my swimming will be off the chart.

RWR, I may be wrong but I have a feeling that gfa entries have to be in by early July 2015 for the 2016 race, that might be cutting it fine post whw!

Oh, bollocks. You are quite correct.

Right then, where's flat and fast before end of May?! I shan't dwell on the fact that even thinking about a marathon time of 3:4X and my name in the same sentence makes me laugh like a hyena...
