Leg 9 of the Essex Way relay done... well done to everyone who ran today. Had hoped to get to Harwich to see the event finish - but, same as last year, best laid plans don't always happen.

I went to the finish, Baroness. Traditional bonkers queue for the chip shop, and bizarrely 10C colder than it was in Ramsey.

Who won - I think Springfield were leading after leg 8? Sorry I missed you on leg 9 but an East Essex Tri lady who had gone wrong just got ahead of me in the final field crossing and I didn't have anything left to try and chase her down to the finish....
