Yet they were going on about helping victims of DA with this storyline - it will have had the opposite effect, I reckon :-(

From a dramatic storyline point of view, I'm interested to see how this ends, but I am disappointed that the story has gone down this route. I agree LD- I think the writers have missed an opportunity to show a less bloody, more "I could do that" way out

Interesting discussion on R4 this morning about classical influences on The Archers. They plan it 'dynastically' (so?) they are already thinking about when Henry is grown up :-0

Yes, Broadcasting House. It was on just after 9.30. There's a podcast but I think you can also just listen again. They also had Paddy O'Connell running Wimbledon parkrun yesterday.

As jacdaw predicted several pages back on this thread.... I am coming to the same conclusion about the church money thief being George rather than Alf.......

The conclusion to this storyline is disgraceful. The only way out of an abusive relationship is for one person to be either killed or jailed?

Eastarchers anyone?

It being Tuesday, I heard tonight's episode.

I really really don't like Pip. I don't know which Fairbro she was talking to. Pat is a complete PITA. I would have thought it unlikely that Pat and Moany would have compliantly taken Henry along to see Rob, given their alleged anguish over failing to spot Helen's distress in her marriage. Rob sounded far too healthy for someone who was at death's door last week. Other than that... ;-)

I think I need a longer break. Maybe a couple of years.

You are so right about Rob - the first thing I thought was his recovery must be nothing short of a miracle.....

Well I hope that police officer saw right through that complete load of claptrap that she's just had to listen to.....
