This may come as a surprise to many, but The Archers is not the Real World - it's a drama!

I think there are green shoots of storyline development with Throb and Hellin - such as Kirsty picking up on H maybe not being able to talk. And her family MUST as some point pick up on her totally submissive behaviour in his presence.

Kirsty also picked up on Helen looking less than blooming. And AT LAST Tom stood his ground on shop business. Mind you it still seems unrealistic that Pat hasn't been more concerned. Although - of course - Rob's plausibility is very much the way things go.

I had tow friends who were in 'controlling' marriages. Both now over. Only one eventually descended into violence - and she got out almost immediately at that point - but both relationships lasted years... and years.

Rob won't be able to withstand the combined forces of Tom and Kirsty (and I'm guessing Ian, too). I think things are coming to a head.

Fallon is also no pushover - and has Harrison on her side - already is unconvinced by Rob. Adam is anti Rob as well as Ian of course. Remember the cricket! The deleted film footage!
