I haven't quite worked out where they are going with Charlie at the moment - ie are we meant to like him or hate him... one minute he is sacking Debbie by email the next he seems to be on a mission to catch out Rob over the blocking up of the culvert (which can surely only be a good thing)

I'm rooting for him to nail the real villain. Christine Barford still takes the prize for worst actor in the history of the series but coming up on the home straight are the new Pip and Adam (as ever) whose voice never changes from that Eeyore note 'I need to check on the STRAWberries'.

I thought they'd change it - they often do with current events. It was a blatant fabrication! I will begin to think the Archers aren't real!

I had heard that an episode of the Archers was due to be recorded actually at Edgbaston but they had to change their plans last minute, so I too was surprised when I tuned in... I guess at least it's only down the road for them.. just as well it wasn't all happening at Lords or the Oval!
