WTF? I don't know who 'Rob' is - living with Helen but he is very clearly a wrong un'. Tom has just effed off to Canada. What? Elizabeth and.... Roy? Really? Is that what passes for a story now? But the biggest shock of all. David Troughton as Tony Archer? I thought Tony had had a voicebox transplant or something. Only if they'd chosen Alan Carr or Janet Street Porter could they have found someone who sounded less like the 'real' Tony Archer. At least Will Grundy is still a miserable sod.

Route A goes through those idiots in Penny Hassett. Yeah, screw you Penny Hassett losers. Route B goes RIGHT THROUGH BROOKFIELD! So David and Ruth are cacking themselves. Except there's a Route C that has discretely not been mentioned much. So in X weeks, it'll be Route C then. Do they write this by taking Standard Plot X and joining it to Minor Variation Y? Or is it a Phone App?

Oddly, I preferred the last Clarrie to this one, who is the original... although I hated it when they first replaced her. And I do wish Will would stop doing his pirate impersonation. This, and the fact that Clarrie makes me think of Pam Ayres, always has me wondering if the Grundys actually live in Polperro.

I have got used to new/original Clarrie - her character doesn't seem to have changed but new Tony seems a different man altogether. I don't know if the current Tony has ever been Tony previously - but I had got used to the last one.
