Close to the end of February and so far five long runs; 2x19 2x20 and a 26.2.

Recovery from yesterday's 19 is the best yet.

Beer only at a weekend? It's my main source of calories. Ok, that's not actually quite true, but it's certainly a valuable component.

Having said that, I actually don't think I've had a drink since Wednesday, which seems a bit of an oversight soon to be remedied. Cheers!

Looks like UtRaB's pace is going to come in very useful for us all @VLM!

Good to see the LRs coming in folks. I hope that they are getting to the point where they are feeling easier now. Hoping I can get to hat point before the end of April!

I'm feeling quite content after my mad HM session this morning. It all added up to approx 18 miles at 7s with an 87:30 hm in the middle. I must say that stopping for a little walk a couple of times is a very, very nice way to complete a hm!! PtB was right of course, I did get a little bit carried away the last mile but was incredibly sensible before that ;-)

I'll have a proper go in a few weeks time. Sub 84 and I am defo going to have another crack at sub 3 at VLM.

I will be having a beer or 2 later, for sure.

Nice effort WW.......need to go look at the details

Todays curious dog incident was a bit odd. On a farm track in the dalmeny estate and I see a car driving towards me at a very slow speed. As I got closer I realise the driver has taken her dog for a walk, she drives slowly while it forages about. Luckily it was well trained and didnt fancy a bite of me. Oh and a bit further on by when it was raining I came across a young lad keeping his hair dry with an (empty) dog poop bag.

Just over 21 miles done in windy and wet underfoot conditions so not too bad.

Nice long runs over the weekend i see!

No long run for myself this weekend after yesterday's xc in what could only be described as running through treacle. Legs are a little worse for wear so giving them aday to recover.

After last week's very hilly off road 19m cut back week this week so pleasantly surprised to manage a nice steady 10 @ MP in a 10m race today.after 2m pre race. Finished in 72:35 feeling strong. Was super windy - hideously cross winds in second half. Despite steady run managed to bag 3rd FV45 so won my entry back :)
