Well done Joe, and welcome back Luna. And Paul, you know you will soon see that pace speed up and the HR stay the same.

I've wrapped up my running season for the year, and have been thrown a curve ball that my form has deteriorated over the year really quite badly (my hip is dropping quite badly causing torso twisting as well), but with no pain. Beginning to think this years collapse in times is due to my collapse in running form/gait (several people have now commented on how I've gone backward seemingly form wise). Anyway have plenty of time to attempt sort it out, I suspect a winter of strength work on the glutes beckons.

good to see thread stalwarts working their way back; you deserve a bit more luck PtB; Luna, let's see if you are sensible enough to target a 7 min/mile marathon (but I guess it is a bit easier to do that when you've run one in the 6:40x range before!).

I hope you find the magic fix Chris.

Good running Joe. It's going to be interesting where you remain on the mojo-meter coming up to Spring as you could obviously be running very quickly by then.

Happy with a sub 3:30 given lack of training and weight.

Now wondering if I can sneak in a sub 3:15 in this year ;-)

5 sub 3:30 marathons in the last 8 days, feel a little weary.

Good luck Joe on your return.
