Excellent Gus. Well done. I'd be very happy with a sub 3:15 off little training. Did it feel OK and no damage done? What was donran's result Bazo? :-) G

Yep, no damage done, and think I paced it just about right, as splits were pretty even throughout, and couldn't push any harder in last few miles.
Not seen my official splits yet, but the negative split must have been a very small one, from memory half way was 1:37:2x I think, off to look now

Well done Gus, that's a fantastic time off a disrupted training block. It'll nice to see your name on the sidebar :-)

It was not to be for me today; 3:15:xx. But I'm too disheartened as I knew my sub-3:10 target was much more of a risk than the 3:15 at GMM in April.

Oh, sounds a decent run still Nelly, how did it pan out ? How was the weather, think it's been quite windy in uk ?

ps Already in the sidebar after GMM, and pretty sure the ever strict Mr PtB quite rightly doesn't allow multiple entries ;-)

Bad luck Nelly. Also remember tiredness accumulates over the year, and you've already got one in the bag - someone of us can't even manage 1!

Thanks guys. I've loaded my run up if anyone wants to have a look (the 4th mile was downhill, strava says 7:26 grade-adjusted pace), but I've just been sat (at a standstill) on the M6 for 50mins so I'll post more thoughts later.

Sorry Gus I forgot you were already on the side-bar (and right next to me!) :-)

Well done Gus, you didn't smash it as you said but ran smoothly under 3:15 once more.

Hard luck Nelly, looks like you had a tough final 6 miles. Two excellent marathons for you this year though :)
