Where is the pain Bazo? Sciatica is typically down back of leg into the calf. Can occur without back pain. I wonder whether you've got something tight around pelvis - psoas/piriformis ?? If it's top of ITB In other news - I'm having an easy week primarily as I'm going out for dinners/drinks and got a wedding on Friday. |

Currently middle of the itb but also depending on how I sit it can be anywhere around the hip area. It's not the psoas. Had that before. Think it is pelvis misalignment related.

Shit Baz, hope you can get it sorted, you really deserve a break. It doesn't sound like the prolapsed disc/sciatica that I suffered from 6 years ago (I had significant back pain and numbness).

Third run post whw tonight and it was tempo, i was a bit weary given i've not managed to run quicker than a 8.15mm the last couple of nights and it felt tough:-o Tempo tonight was split into 2x20mins or 5k, whichever come quicker...3mins recovery and to run back into the wind faster. Just about managed it with a 19.39 out and 19.24 back to give me 39.03 for the 10k. I'll take that given i'm struggling with speed. Back to the real world this weekend with multi day drinking sessions Baz - embrace the physio pain and zip up the mansuit.... |

Someone call the vet for Bazoaxe!!! I've ran once this week. I'll try for a run in the morning before once again being stoosh's support crew for the weekend. We have a big weekend - a wedding tomorrow which will probably spill into a boozy Saturday lunch. this could then progress...... But when your young(ish)...... |

Alcohol didnt work and so I resorted to the hated Ibuprofen this morning following another night of precious little sleep. Drugs have dulled the pain and I dont dread the physio as much now. However, its clear that Lou is right, if I was a horse they would be putting the barriers around me and putting me out of my misery

In all seriousness, hope physio gives you an answer. Member of the month vote.... voted then thought, hang on, that's Stoosh! Woops. 7 mile house hunting run this morning - I basically scope out Right Move or zoopla, run to see the house, then run home. Let's me see the crucial elements - what other weirdos frequent the |

Lol, I voted stoosh as well but missed nominating him - no harm done Physio was intrigued by whats been going on but conclusion was that the hip didn't fancy something. I had been struggling to do one of the stretches and that may have pushed it over the edge and that along with running in the morning and cycling in the afternoon and it just said that's enough pal. The offending exercise is dropped and I have some modified and new ones. Continue with the anti inflammatories for a few days then try and run again. It is actually a huge amount better today. Dr Lou was wrong |
