Joe seems to have had a week off running, must be tapering for a PB ;-)

I am just getting thge miles back up again....parkrun tomorrow and weather looks good, but I am carrying more weight than pre VLM and have the remains of the lurgy so not sure if I am ready to run really fast or not.

Would quite like to hit 50M on Monday, but it would have to go perfect.

Still tightness all around my hip - so many muscles to isolate - suspect it's pririformis - I've started running again as it's no worse for running - just can't run freely or stride out.

Feel better for just going out and running - it's improving but not quick enough for my liking! Have managed to adapt my weights sessions and tending to run 2-3 miles, stop at the gym for a cross trainer interval session then run home - let's me get a decent workout without too much impact.

Good Luck Lou are you still around for Edinburgh ?

No running at all for me this week as Baz mentioned just taking a break hopefully to kill any niggles and to stop a burn out. Will probably get out and do a few miles this morning before a beer festival in the afternoon.

Joe - I reckon I probably will head through - I may pace a friend if they are doing the half or alternatively just run the half as best as I can. 6 miles this morning was about my limit just now! Feel fit but the leg is just fecked!! Hope you're niggles aren't too bothersome!

6 miles then 30 min blast on cross trainer :)
