Well happy with 3:13 round Windermere. So a sub 6:10 double which I am well happy with.

Had my general impression of BMW drivers amended for the worse when I got all but taken out at 20M by a prat driving up the course on a blind turn, hit the deck but luckily minimal damage (the fecker just drove off). Prefect conditions today again and managed to run strongly the entire way so really happy :-)

Well done Lou and RFJ.

Well done Joe on the great running and avoiding the prat in the car.

Daz - felt ok - aware of an ache but I think when I relaxed it got a bit easier and when I was in the later few kilometres I felt like I could have ran closer to my "normal" race pace. Don't want to tempt fate but its not sore to walk today either .... fingers and toes crossed that its improving!!

Lou - good news on the injury, hopefully they'll be no backlash from today and you can get back into running normally for was it Edinburgh Half ?

RCF - Busy weekend, well run.

Thanks Nelly and Gus, hoping that knackered weekend running will make me stronger.

Some super fast stuff going on here. Well done to all as usual - Joe, hope you enjoyed the cheers at mile 4 on Sunday. Was great fun clapping you all round. And didn't Rents do brilliantly - 10th marathon of the 10 days - 3:49. Fantastic! :-) G

Sorry I missed you Happy where abouts were you ? Was 4M around Hawkshead ?

Anyone who survives the 10 in 10 is amazing. It is a testing course , strength is a great help as if you can run the second half well it is a course that should be run -'ve.
Probably 5mins slower than a flatter course

Yip Hawkshead, I was standing up at the café on the corner after the pedestrian bit, cheering and clapping like a loon! Well done again. :-) G

It's all gone a bit quiet! I can believe most of us have done our spring marathons, but surely Joe has rune 3 or 4 more since 19th? ;-)

Track session tonight: 8 x 400m @ 90secs / 200m recovery. I'm enjoying these, first time I've ever run on a track was only a month ago, think I'm getting addicted!
