I'll take your optimism then Peacey. Found it a touch hot last year so this might be better anyway. WW, I've monitored your training. No way I'm going to be scooping you up!

Good luck to everyone else racing this weekend. Weather today looks rubbish. Raining already and rain forecast tomorrow. I am hoping that as today's rain wasn't forecast that tomorrow's won't arrive.

Weather fantastic here in central London - it's Glasgow rain and nice and cool. This is what we've trained in :)

I'm so relaxed thus far it's weird - event Stoosh isn't succeeding in winding me up :) off out for a wee run round tower bridge at 10am :)

I'm 30 miles up the road and I would say the weather is perfect as it currently sits.

No wind, very light drizzle (although that has now stopped) and around 12 degrees.

Enjoy and good luck all. Looking forward to viewing the tracker.

Good luck to all of you at VLM - I'm sure there will be a lot of good results based on the training many of you have put in. Look forward to the war stories afterwards...

My hip is still a bit buggered, it survived the marathon itself but hasn't reacted well since. Good excuse for a break from running (cycling seems okish).

Hope the hip sorts itself out soon Jdarun. Weather forecasters now seem to be saying the south westerlies are becoming north easterlies tomorrow morning, which might be helpful for those long, ugly final miles down the Embankment. All things considered, it's looking OK. Sat here at work for another three hours. Reading inspirational quotes as part of mental strength building. Good one from Zapotek: "If you want to win something, run 100 meters. If you want to experience something, run a marathon." GOOD LUCK to any Fetchies running tomorrow whether its VLM or elsewhere.

Expo done, wandered down to start line in Greenwich where there are various people in hi-vis vests hanging around but very quiet. Difficult to imagine there'll be 40000 there in a few hours!

Back at hotel now: rest, hydration, carbo-loading :-)
