Lou - it'll be role reversal on Sunday. You with tipple in hand, Stoo on the High 5 trying to move on from his weekend hangover!

The eagle has landed

Meeting in fgfa would need to be by phone as its not always a insistent layout. That's how I found BR last year although in true comedy fashion we were almost standing side by side

I have put a photo in my gallery to aid identification as my avatar doesn't help too much & later on when I've got a few mins I'll fmail my phone number out.

Hello everyone.

Just thought I'd pop in to the best thread and say good luck to everyone for Sunday, hope you all achieve what you have worked hard for- will be thinking of all of you :) Run well, most important enjoy, and when it hurts, just remember you're lucky to be there!

Still missing being able to be a part of the 3.15 chase, but I am running again now (all be it only 3 times a week) It's nice to be able to put my trainers on- done a few 5ks, I'm actually up to the heady heights of 8 miles, so will be doing some 5/10ks over the summer, and have my eyes on the GSR. Will never be back to marathons, so that's as close to VLM as I can get lol. Cyclings going very very well.

Be proud of yourselves, whatever happens.

Good luck to all the VMLMers for Sunday, do your training justice. I was in London on the bus yesterday and went past the end of the Mall, all of the flags are out and it brought back many happy memories. Just use this image as your motivation during the race - think about striding down the Mall with the Union Jacks either side, arms aloft celebrating a PB, Sub 3, beating a clubmate ....................

Hoping to see a few of these on Monday:

Glad to hear you've got a diagnosis Paul. onwards and upwards from here.

By chance I met Lou and Stoosh last year outside the blue/red FGFA start, turned out one of their mates had family ties from close to where I'm from. Can't remember who but I ended up in someone's video from sub3:15 near the finish acting the lig.

I'll be the same as my avatar but maybe not just as sideways (at least until the finish line).

BR - that picture is all skin 'n' bone. Loving it!

This is me although I'm a bitter skinner at the mo. hadn't realised you could copy pics in like this.

Delurking... I have decided to run it but have been down with injuries and therefore cannot expect a great run. I wish you all well, there has been some superb training going on. whilst I wish you all the best on Sunday, particular good luck goes to Bazo who certainly deserves a good run.
