Opposite for me, 2010, London couldn't stand as quads hurt so much, after Cornish able to jog around and don't get too much soreness in general.

MF – those are a quick set, particularly off a minute. You look well set up for speed. How’s the longer stuff looking in the plan? What sort of weekly mileage do you expect to get up to?

No more than 50 a week, my body can't cope with it otherwise. I'm far more suited to shorter stuff so I have to manage myself properly when it comes to longer stuff as I know my limits. Longest run so far was 15 on Sunday, up to 16 this week, then 18. I've got 5x20 in the plan as well. Basically I'm following the same sort of plan that saw me round NY a few years back, which worked really well for me, I think I maxed out at 45 or so a week on that one.

Looks plenty to me. Well sub 3:15 could be on the cards.

MF - nice set indeed

My legs are still a tad trashed from the XC on Sat, 3 x 2.4km (6 laps of track) 10:30 / 10:24 / 10:20 not the fastest (a tad slower than threshold).

Take care

Well done to emdee for a great time at Marrakech, if I picked that up correctly - I'll let him say the time, but looks like it was a PB and GFA! Congrats. :-) G

Wow fantastic running Emdee :)

The full sounds a lot better than the half. I need to email the organisers and make suggestions. Bag drop being one of them ;)

Back in the UK tonight and off out for my first post race run shortly (its too difficult to run in the Medina, especially as a woman!).
