lol baz - unfortunately i've run out of stag do's for the year. I once thought about doing taper madness but didn't really appeal;-)
It is disturbing though, i seem to have gone a FULL week without a takeaway and after months of piling on miles i taper and my legs feel pretty fresh, who'd have thought:-o

Dan - go give it the beans and bring home a pb:)

Also good luck in Dublin BS and puzzler - hope if your going for pb's, you smash them up (i say this as i know BS seems to be knocking out marathons for fun these days;-)).

Good luck to anyone else racing over the weekend also... i'm heading out to Frankfurt tomorrow and could well be drunk until tues so don't expect to be online much id at all.

Thanks for the 'good lucks'. Couldn't believe the countdown clock on the Dublin marathon page (3 days), this has crept up very fast. There'll be no PB attempt for me however I'd love a SB and if not then just to finish would be great. I think this is lucky 13 for the year with another few planned for the coming weeks starting with my first fancy dress marathon the following Sunday.

Anyhow, all the very best to Stoosh, Dan and Puzzler. Not sure if Puzzler has noticed but the pacers in Dublin are 3.00, 3.10, 3.20, etc

Good luck to all this weekends marathons and a warning to Stoosh - #dontbeshit and #buymeapresent

Speedwork for me tonight - landed at Edinburgh 17.45, 2 breakdowns on the airport road to get to motorway, some swift driving in the rain, ready to run intervals at 18.45 off a short rather stroppy warm-up. Great wee session with Stoosh's club.

Think I'm getting a cold... which may coincide with rest day Saturday and Sunday as I'm visiting Germany/Austria/Switzerland :) Life is good :)

Good luck Stu, dan, BS and Puzzler. Can't believe no-one's attempting sub 3:15 at Snowdonia this year tho.
