18 with 10 at MP....was tough work, but pleased with 6:48, 6:46, 6:47, 6:48, 6:48, 6:51, 6:49, 6:48, 6:49, 6:50 - it was the consistency of pacing that I was most pleased with. This was the last MP my plan has but I need to see if I can work another couple of them in.

Nicely done Bazo ! Your in great shape - how did they feel? Could you knock another 16 out like that? I reckon your mentally in the sub 3 zone now and that's half the battle.

Managed 11.5 miles today at similar pace to the disastrous half I ran earlier this month - big difference in how I felt - enjoyed it, didn't feel like upping the pace when half the pack started to wind it up in last 3 miles but I stuck with the other 2 guys. Still niggle in my back but ibuprofen kept it at bay. Only issue now is horrid indigestion probably from the ibuprofen ;) Would love to keep these strong Sunday runs up over winter and start January with a strong base for London :)

Thx Lou and Iam

Lou to be honest I couldn't have held that for much longer although it did feel ok to keep the pace consistent. I was pleased when the tenth mile beeped a d I could take a wee breather. . However this came at the end of a 70 mile week that had a set of intervals so that doesn't surprise me. If I can get two or three more of these under my belt I will be very happy.

20.5m for me today, progressive but a bit erratic as done up on the Ridgeway with some serious hills thrown in. Pleasing run though, hill work as part of a long run is hard work!

Great consistent pacing there Baz, glad to hear you're enjoying running again Lou, and nice miles there Peacey.

A hilly, trailly, slow 18 for me today ( after an even hillier 9 miles yesterday ) - my longest run since start of July. Whole summer has been interrupted by on/off achilles problems. Got Frankfurt 9 weeks today, which will no longer be a pb attempt, may still be a sub 3:15 attempt, but looking quite unlikely, see what happens over next 2 or 3 weeks, now that physio has identified my irregularities and given me strengthening exercises to work on.
