Think you've summed up the ideal approach to training toffee - as to the blogs, it's just a life experience. I like the way fetch attracts people from a wide back ground. And that we all do stuff, whether it be running, cycling, swimming ( not all together as that would be silly) |

Positives and negative Jono..Manchester is flatter, though the Liverpool course has nicer "scenery". Liverpool is cheaper to enter. Not sure myself to be honest.

Well there is all that  Manchester's got a *big* marathon appeal - but it's accessible. I ran Liverpool under the previous organisation - thought the course was a belter - I'd have to pick between the two events - I don't fancy paying twice to run around the pool. As to the cost -don't drink and don't smoke, so it's affordable I think and if it's your *big* road marathon of the season it's okay. |

Yeh, if it were to be my "A" race I'm more likely to do well in Manc. However, I just love running round Liverpool..
