Jono.
Mrs J asked J Jnr *why do I want to do that *
Mrs J asked molly J *it's 3 ships*

The children answered to Mrs j's enquiry's as to whether they wanted to walk down to Seacombe ferry!

I was stuck in work!

I didn't get to see the 3, but I did get down to Formby beach in the morning and 2 were moored waiting for the tide. Phone playing up, so no photos I'm afraid :-(

couple of minutes of video on bbc news website

that's Crosby beach - we're further north. Crosby looked a bit busy, so probably not a good idea with an excitable puppy

Jono.
I love the red squirrels.

does anyone remember the 50th anniversary for the battle of the atlantic - that was an amazing day - me and Mrs J, pre children, foot loose and fancy free went down to the river, in a non gospel sense, and watched the flypast, ships etc - it was lovely.

still got a book at home, somewhere.

mind you I was a P&O man - Cunard, pffft!

I wasn't in the northwest then.

I'm trying to settle cedd - he has gut ache again. And is emitting noxious fumes.

oh - hope cedd gets better, no one likes noxious fumes - well except petrol.

the pier head looked very quiet this morning, after the weekends excitement. Watched the ferry plying its trade - the one painted in Zig Zag colors.
