I'm very depressed tonight my new budget is reduced by 9% or the equivelant of one teacher! Not sure how I'm going to deal with this. Our school has worked like demons I've over the past three years to raise standards...and now this! Seriously considering finding a job in England because education there is much better funded

and the comunity will never get those things back, swimming baths, library's, parks, comunity centre's are all things that make our lives accesible. J Jnr is a victim of the cuts - well not himself - He started to go to an after school club on a wednesday and he proper loves it. At first transport was arranged to bring him home, as Mrs J doesn't drive, and JJnr's school is a right pigs ear to get too - it stopped at the end of last term. Luckily I can arrange my week to finish early and pick him up - but you do wonder how other people would manage. |
