Sorry to mention this on a rubbish thread.... I've been offered a place for the conwy half this weekend.
I could do it in about 2 h 30 mins I reckon
What do you think?

Now I've written this down I'm a bit scared, I know it's round the orme but that's only a couple of miles up, people must walk that bit surely looking at last years times?

T - go for it
not a fast course, but enjoyable in a masochistic sort of way
I did it the first year and from what I remember it's a long slow drag from 5-miles for about 2 and a half, but nice downhill for about a mile and a half after that

I do know the North West consists of more than Merseyside, but for those interested thre are some cracking photos on this twitter site: twitter.com (it's not mine by the way, but I've just spent a happy hour looking through them)

well there are bits attached to Merseyside Mulbs.

T It is a cracking half marathon, really enjoyable - got my PB there. The climb up the great Orme is quite steady and as R4R said there's a nice down hill bit.

I did the Santa Dash 2 years ago in a blue suit, but back to the usual Santa Red this year.

Go for it T, what have you got to lose?
