Fragile Do Not Bend
I'm getting more and more convinced that my depression is a symptom of perimenopause, so I've got an appointment with my GP. However they could only offer me a telephone appointment next week and I'm expecting that will result in needing a face to face appointment, so could be a while!

I've been massively anxious lately. Completely stopped running partly because I've had a bit of a cold but mostly because I just can't face it. I feel really exposed leaving the house and although I've managed to get some things done, today I am massively anxious to the point where I don't think I can actually go out at all.

The dog is looking at me pleadingly but I am incapable. I had an hour of manic cleaning followed by about 10 minutes of self pity and sobbing. Now I'm just sitting in bed feeling completely useless and upset. I don't think I'm capable of a single rational thought right now.

Oh that sounds tough Jangles. I think anxiety can just be debilitating sometimes to be honest.
Manic cleaning sounds like you've got something done. Hope your anxiety eases a little for you soon.

How you holding out HOD?

I am finding (as did my brother in his lead up to London) that having a race in front of me is acting like a bit of a pressure point which can force me to trudge though some heavy stuff in my head!

Guess it'll probably ease after the race.

So you get someone who's job it isn't to make the change, let the production job fail overnight then he changes it back. Then 'FYI' you tell us the change didn't work, you've asked the customer what went wrong but still not told us what the change was. Well 'FYI' it's our job to analyse and make the change, and having now done so (having had to extract blood from a stone on the details and had an awkward conversation about roles and responsibilities), I can tell you why it didnt work and what it should be. Oddly enough thats my job. I can also tell you how to test the fuckin thing rather than fingers crossed and praying til the next run! Egg on face all round now that we look like right twats to the customer.
