It's been a 'One step forward, two steps back' kinda day... But at least I tried.

I can hear the black dog at the door...

Facebook account deactivated for the time being. Getting really wound-up/pissed off/depressed at all the posts about things in the past that my wife and I used to do together, but can no longer enjoy. Looking at peoples "memories" just gets me down, so its time to give it a rest.

My fingers hovered over the deactivate button on Friday.. I'm sick of having memories shoved in my face every day and getting notifications of his new friends in his new life with his girlfriend... Unfortunately, I'm taking a course and the students use a FB group to share resources otherwise I'd give up Facebook too...

Hello. If Facebook memories are something you don't want, you can turn them off: gadgette.com

Good find there Grid, glad I'm not the only one that finds FB Memories a pain.

I try and use FB as much for information than for what people I know are up to.

Luckily, none of my recent ex's are on FB anyway.

I deactivated FB for a week. I was feeling very unhappy seeing all the statuses/memories etc and was making myself more anxious and depressed just looking at stuff.

When you deactivate, there is an option to automatically "reactivate" in however many days you want - certainly made me feel more relaxed about deactivating in the first place.

It reactivated last night, and I was just bored at it contents. The only thing I missed was my Bulletproof Runners FB page which is very interactive with videos, live Q&As and stuff.

It wouldn't allow me to filter the dates but it did filter him.. It's kinda sad in a way. They were such happy times and I wish he'd realise it.

I'm so pissed off with feeling like this. FFS will somebody tell me when I'm going to wake up feeling normal.

Its a rubbish feeling isn't it Jangles? I still feel the same after splitting with my GF just over 4 years ago. Wasn't married, not even living together, but it still feels crap as it was me that had to finish it.
All I can say is hang in there ,as it will get easier, but some days will be better than others. xx

I'm just so tired. I feel like I'm in a fight I can't get out of.
