Sorry, for me mindfulness and the headspace stuff is all far too hand-wavy still.

Not for me.

But there doesn't seem to be anything that, for me, will help.

Can't afford £50p/w for private psychotherapy, so I just have to get on with it.

Fair enough Fozzy.

Bottom line for my better half is still her meds. She so desperately wants to be free of pills but having tried to wean herself off in conjunction with non-drug therapies, and crashed and burned more than once, she/we now accept that some level of medication will probably always be there. Kind of like a "pacemaker" that has to be there.

As there's over 2000 pages I'm not going to wade through it all - has anyone used or is using Big White Wall? I've been given a short stint of counselling through my employee wellness program but I feel I need more once that's over. Neither my work place or GP refer to Big White Wall but I am prepared to pay myself if it's worthwhile.

Seems like a few of us are toughing it out at the mo.

I'm taking time out from my life for now and have retreated under my duvet.

Blimey, what a battle of a run! Not one you'd choose to repeat but a massive victory. Bloody well done.

Good luck this pm and with the Psychiatrist. Sometimes you find a rapport, hope it goes well when it happens.

sioux - you've had a huge amount to deal with in the last few months but you've got through before and I just know you'll make it again. Would seeing someone again help do you think? Hugs xx

Thanks USB.

Yes, you're right.

I went to see my GP on Thurs.

M4P came up for the day and went with me.

Was a big help cos I couldn't work out where to start so she was able to fill in gaps.

She was brilliant. Thursday is her 'child free' day and she spent it listening to me head dump and then put it in some kind of coherent order for my GP (who is also fab)

Purps knows me so well and just seeing her helped enormously.

Anyway, GP has increased my 'vitamin F' to maximum
Give me a small supply of zopiclone as hardly sleeping.

Referred me and Fetchhead for family therapy (he's very angry with me)

Given me the number for nhs counselling service but thinks I'd be better going back to the specific counselling I had before as my brothers death is a big part of what's triggered this episode.

(Anyone that needs background to that last bit it's in my blog)

Took lower dose of zopiclone last 2 nights and slept.

Not taking tonight as racing tomorrow.

Not taking tomorrow as working Monday.

Besides it's addictive and haven't got enough to take it every night.

Things are moving on the house front.

We should exchange on fri and complete on 30th.

The situation here is hard going and it's been so long.

Think having my own place will help.

I feel kind of homeless at the mo.

cwtches all round for those that want/need them
