Hi Pete , I'm on it for depression but it's non reactive depression so no cause that I can recover from , I think this causes me more worry as I can't fix myself. I'll give it a few more days then call him I think.

Thanks

Morning :)

(((())))to anyone needing them.

I finally got the courage to call docs after the advice from the counsellor. Ended up really disheartened with 'hang in there' from him! He said it takes time and not a quick fix ,which I totally appreciate but after 8 weeks I would have hoped to see something! Last 2 weeks I've been crying and low every day, I was stirring coffee at work on Wednesday and it made me cry. I felt a lot worse than I was before I went for help. Now just to contradict myself and prove him right a little , the last day I have felt better so fingers crossed :)
He also took blood cause he thinks I'm anaemic , felt like grabbing him and saying 'duh' I've been telling him for 2 months how worried I've been cause I'm not eating ,lost close to a stone now , obviously there was going to be consequences!

Sorry rant over! It's just frustrating and hard!

This is the place to let it out flopsie. Sounds like a competition with your current GP, break the cycle and ask to see another GP asap . Take care!

That's the funny thing Dunc, he has been so good up to now, except for the food thing. I want to believe in him and I suppose he has a lot more knowledge of this than I do. If I have no change by my next scheduled appointment in 2 weeks and he doesn't do anything then I will move. Grope to have confidence in the doc or you can't trust them fully I suppose.
Thanks :)

Thanks Dunc, your right. One of the things coming up at the counselling is his I hate hurting people's feelings and she said I'm hyper sensitive, apologising for everything when I don't need to. guess I extended that yo the doctor as well!

Flopsie, if it's any help I had just about given up on the citalopram srarting to work when it actually did - about 8 weeks after starting it.
